Over 400,000 New Yorkers live in food insecure homes in the Bronx, One in five children in the Bronx have experienced food insecurity at some point in their life, and the COVID-19 pandemic has further worsened these rates. The Food Pantry provides families who are encountering economic challenges access to nutritious food to live an active healthy life.
